Ukrainian Open
The Ukrainian Open is a senior international figure skating competition. The inaugural event was held in December 2013 in Kyiv. Not held in the following two seasons, the event was scheduled to return 9–13 November 2016 as part of the ISU Challenger Series but the International Skating Union listed the event as cancelled on 20 September. Kyiv

Dmitri Dun
Dmitri Dun ( uk, Дмитро Олексійович Дунь; born 7 November 1989) is a Ukrainian former competitive ice dancer. With Siobhan Heekin-Canedy, he is a three-time Ukrainian national champion and placed as high as 14th at the World Championships. Career Early in his career, Dun competed with Alisa Agafonova. They made their ISU Junior Grand Prix debut in the 2004–05 season. In 2006, they won their first JGP medal, silver, in Taipei. In 2007–08, Agafonova/Dun placed 4th in one JGP event and took silver in another. They qualified for the ISU Junior Grand Prix Final where they finished 6th. Siobhan Heekin-Canedy
Siobhan Heekin-Canedy (born July 31, 1991) is an American-Ukrainian former ice dancer who competed internationally for Ukraine. With Dmitri Dun, she is a three-time Ukrainian national champion and placed as high as 14th at the World Championships. Personal life Heekin-Canedy became a Ukrainian citizen two months before the 2014 Winter Olympics. Career Due to the scarcity of males in U.S. figure skating, Heekin-Canedy's coach arranged a partnership with a Ukrainian. Heekin-Canedy began competing for Ukraine with Dmitri Zyzak in 2007. After their split, she competed with Alexander Shakalov from 2009 to 2011. They were coached by Galit Chait and Natalia Dubova. Shakalov retired after the 2011 World Championships. Taavi Rand (born 17 July 1992) is an Estonian former ice dancer. With partner Irina Shtork, he is the 2013 International Cup of Nice bronze medalist, the 2013 Ukrainian Open silver medalist, and a four-time Estonian national champion. Career Early in his career, Rand skated with Kristin Vaha. He began competing with Irina Shtork in the 2004–05 season. They debuted on the ISU Junior Grand Prix circuit in 2006 and placed 22nd in their first appearance at Junior Worlds in 2007. The following season, the duo again finished 22nd at Junior Worlds. Alexei Alexandrovich Sitnikov (russian: Алексей Александрович Ситников; born 23 May 1986) is a former competitive ice dancer. Competing for Azerbaijan with Julia Zlobina, he is the 2013 Golden Spin of Zagreb champion, 2013 Volvo Open Cup champion, 2012 Nebelhorn Trophy silver medalist, and 2013 Winter Universiade silver medalist.
