Ty Dellandrea
Ty Dellandrea (born July 21, 2000) is a Canadian professional ice hockey centre and right wing for the San Jose Sharks of the National Hockey League (NHL). Dellandrea was selected in the first round, 13th overall, by the Dallas Stars in the 2018 NHL entry draft. Playing career Junior Flint Firebirds Dellandrea was drafted in the first round, fifth overall, by the Flint Firebirds in the 2016 OHL Priority Selection. He appeared in his first career OHL game on September 21, 2016, scoring a goal against Brendan Bonello of the Saginaw Spirit 63 seconds into the game, as the Firebirds defeated the Spirit 4–0. He began his OHL career with points in each of his first five games. On October 15, Dellandrea scored his first career OHL multi-goal game, as he had two goals and an assist in a 5–3 loss to the Barrie Colts. Canada Men's National Junior Ice Hockey Team
The Canadian men's national under-20 ice hockey team is the ice hockey team representing Canada internationally in under-20 competition. Their primary participation in this age group comes at the International Ice Hockey Federation's World Junior Championship, held annually every December and January. The team also participates in various exhibition matches and occasional exhibition series, such as the 2007 Super Series against their Russian counterparts, an eight-game exhibition series commemorating the 35th anniversary of the 1972 Summit Series. The 2016–17 OHL season was the 37th season of the Ontario Hockey League, in which twenty teams played 68 games each according to the regular season schedule, from September 21, 2016, to March 21, 2017. The playoffs began on March 23, 2017, and ended on May 12. The Erie Otters won the J. Ross Robertson Cup for the second time in franchise history, and the first time since 2002, as they defeated the Mississauga Steelheads in five games to represent the OHL at the 2017 Memorial Cup held at the WFCU Centre in Windsor, Ontario. Kingston Frontenacs
The Kingston Frontenacs are a Canadian major junior ice hockey team in the Ontario Hockey League, based in Kingston, Ontario. The Frontenacs play home games at Slush Puppie Place, which opened in 2008. The team's history predates the Ontario Hockey League, to a team known as the Kingston Victorias in 1945. 2019–20 OHL Season
The 2019–20 OHL season was the 40th season of the Ontario Hockey League, in which twenty teams were scheduled to playing 68 games each according to the regular season schedule, from September 19, 2019 to March 22, 2020. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic in North America, the regular season was suspended on March 12, 2020, and cancelled six days later. In ice hockey, the captain is the player designated by a team as the only person authorized to speak with the game officials regarding rule interpretations when the captain is on the ice. At most levels of play each team must designate one captain and a number of alternate captains (usually two or three) who speak to the officials when the captain is on the bench. Sarnia Sting
The Sarnia Sting are a junior ice hockey team based in Sarnia, Ontario, Canada. They are one of the 20 teams that make up the Ontario Hockey League. They play out of the Progressive Auto Sales Arena (formerly the Sarnia Sports and Entertainment Centre). A hat-trick or hat trick is the achievement of a generally positive feat three times in a match, or another achievement based on the number three.
