Twila Kilgore
Twila Argo Kilgore (; born January 18, 1980) is an American soccer coach and former player who is the current assistant coach for the United States women's national team. She was appointed after the resignation of Vlatko Andonovski under whom she served as the assistant coach for the women's national team. Playing career Kilgore was born in Downey, California to Patricia Kaufman. In her youth, she played for the club side Las Virgenes Blazers, before later joining the Southern California Blues, with whom she won two state titles. In high school, she played soccer at Harvard-Westlake School, where she earned first team All- CIF honors during her senior year. In college, Kilgore played four years with the Arizona Wildcats from 1998 to 2001. She made 74 appearances during her career, scoring seven goals and recording three assists. 2023 SheBelieves Cup
The 2023 SheBelieves Cup, named the 2023 SheBelieves Cup Presented by Visa for sponsorship reasons, was the eighth edition of the SheBelieves Cup, an invitational women's soccer tournament held in the United States. Featuring national teams from Brazil, Canada, Japan, and hosts United States, it began on February 16 and ended on February 22, 2023. The United States emerged as champion, winning all three of its games. Format The four invited teams played in a round-robin tournament. Points awarded in the group stage followed the formula of three points for a win, one point for a draw, and zero points for a loss. The SheBelieves Cup is an invitational women's soccer tournament held in different cities in the United States in late February or early March. In its first three years (2016, 2017 and 2018), it was contested by the same four teams: the United States, England, France, and Germany.
