Ann Kathryn Turkel (born July 16, 1946) is an American actress and former model. Turkel studied acting at the Musical Theatre Academy. Life and career Turkel was born in New York City to a Jewish family. She was photographed for American ''Vogue'' in the late 1960s. Patrick Lichfield captured images of her on location in the United Kingdom, the Bahamas, and Italy during the early 1970s, and included them in his 1981 book ''The Most Beautiful Women''. After a brief appearance in the film '' Paper Lion'' (1968), her first major role was in the 1974 film, '' 99 and 44/100% Dead'' starring her future husband Richard Harris, and they acted together in '' The Cassandra Crossing'' (1976), '' Golden Rendezvous'' (1977) and '' Ravagers'' (1979). Bruce Turkel (born 1957) is a creative entrepreneur, speaker and author on the subject of branding. Early life Bruce was born and raised in Miami Beach, Florida. His father, Leonard Turkel and his mother, Annsheila Turkel moved to Miami from New York City in 1956. Eli L. Turkel ( hebrew אלי טורקל) (born January 22, 1944) is an Israeli applied mathematician and currently an emeritus professor of applied mathematics at the School of Mathematical Sciences, Tel Aviv University. He is known for his contributions to numerical analysis of Partial Differential equations particularly in the fields of computational fluid dynamics, computational electromagnetics, acoustics and elasticity. Research His research interests include algorithms for scattering and inverse scattering, image processing, and crack propagation. His most quoted paper is with Jameson and Shmidt (JST) on a Runge-Kutta scheme to solve the Euler equations. Jacob "Yaakov" Turkel (Hebrew: יעקב טירקל; born in 1935 in Tel Aviv) is an Israeli judge, and former Supreme Court of Israel Justice. Turkel served as a judge for 38 years, a decade of that time on the Israeli Supreme Court. In June 2010, he was appointed to head the Israeli special independent Turkel Commission of Inquiry into the Gaza flotilla raid. Nury Ablikim Turkel (; ; born 1970) is a Uyghur American attorney, public official and human rights advocate based in Washington, D.C. He is currently the Chair of the United States Commission on International Religious Freedom. Turkel was born in Kashgar, Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region. The Turkel Commission (officially The Public Commission to Examine the Maritime Incident of 31 May 2010) is an inquiry set up by Israeli Government to investigate the Gaza flotilla raid, and the Blockade of Gaza. It is led by Israeli retired Supreme Court Judge Jacob Turkel.
