Tsaradia is a domestic airline based in Antananarivo, Madagascar. It is a subsidiary of Air Madagascar and commenced operations on 2 July 2018. History Tsaradia was launched as a subsidiary of Air Madagascar after a strategic partnering between Air Austral and Air Madagascar. The airline was originally planned to launch in April 2018 but commenced operations on 2 July 2018. Based out of Ivato International Airport in Antananarivo, Tsaradia serves the domestic markets. As a result, Air Madagascar no longer flies to domestic destinations since they are exclusively served by the Tsaradia subsidiary. Tsaradia's name translates to "good flight" or "good travel" in Malagasy, the indigenous language of Madagascar. Ivato International Airport is the main international airport serving Antananarivo, the capital of Madagascar, located northwest of the city centre. Ivato Airport is the main hub for Air Madagascar and is located in the commune of Ivato. History Ivato has been the main airport of Antananarivo since the 1960s; civil and military mixed platform and main hub of Air Madagascar. It has two main terminals: one terminal for domestic flights and one terminal for international flights. Antananarivo ( French: ''Tananarive'', ), also known by its colonial shorthand form Tana, is the capital and largest city of Madagascar. Malagasy Language
Malagasy (; ) is an Austronesian language and the national language of Madagascar. Malagasy is the westernmost Malayo-Polynesian language, brought to Madagascar by the settlement of Austronesian peoples from the Sunda islands around the 5th century AD. The Malagasy language is one of the Barito languages and is most closely related to the Ma'anyan language, still spoken on Borneo to this day. Malagasy also includes numerous Malay loanwords, from the time of the early Austronesian settlement and trading between Madagascar and the Sunda Islands. Ring-tailed Lemur
The ring-tailed lemur (''Lemur catta'') is a large strepsirrhine primate and the most recognized lemur due to its long, black and white ringed tail. It belongs to Lemuridae, one of five lemur families, and is the only member of the ''Lemur'' genus. Like all lemurs it is endemic to the island of Madagascar and endangered. Known locally in Malagasy as ' (, spelled ' in French) or ', it inhabits gallery forests to spiny scrub in the southern regions of the island. It is omnivorous and the most terrestrial of extant lemurs. The animal is diurnal, being active exclusively in daylight hours. The ring-tailed lemur is highly social, living in groups of up to 30 individuals. It is also female dominant, a trait common among lemurs.
