Truce (group)
Truce was an all female British R&B trio in the 1990s, consisting of lead singer Dianne Joseph, Janine Linton and Michelle Escoffery. Their biggest hit was "Eyes Don't Lie" which reached number 20 on the UK Singles Chart in 1998. They released their first album, ''Nothin' But the Truce'' in 1995 and had disbanded by 1998. Escoffery continued to work as a singer, such as on K-Gee's debut album ''Bounce to This'' including the 2000 single " I Don't Really Care", and on Artful Dodger's 2001 hit "Think About Me". Girl Group
A girl group is a music act featuring several female singers who generally harmonize together. The term "girl group" is also used in a narrower sense in the United States to denote the wave of American female pop music singing groups, many of whom were influenced by doo-wop and which flourished in the late 1950s and early 1960s between the decline of early rock and roll and start of the British Invasion. K-Gee
Karl Clive Gordon, known by the stage name K-Gee, is a British DJ, producer, rapper and songwriter and former member of the Outlaw Posse. Gordon was brought up listening to reggae by his father and was inspired to become a DJ after listening to Grandmaster Flash's "The Message" and other early hip-hop tracks. K-Gee and his friend Bello decided to start Outlaw Posse and one of his demo tapes ended up at Richie Rich and in 1990 the debut single "Party" was released and later the album ''My Afros on Fire''. "I Don't Really Care" is the debut single by English rapper/record producer K-Gee, released in 2000. It was produced by K-Gee and Octave, and features vocals by singer Michelle Escoffery. Artful Dodger are a UK garage duo, originally based in the city Southampton, which became famous for its 2-step hits and inaugurated Craig David's professional musical career with his appearance on their 1999 number-two hit " Re-Rewind". T Power (born Marc Royal) is an English drum and bass producer from Bow, London. Originally starting his production career in the UK hardcore scene, he moved into jungle. He was signed to drum and bass/jungle record label Botchit and Scarper. Wanting to avoid the increasing politics within the scene, he began to produce experimental drum and bass, culminating in the album, ''The Self Evident Truth of an Intuitive Mind''.
