Triumph Daytona (T300)
The Triumph Daytona and Daytona Super 3 (model codes T331, T332, T343, T344, T354 and T357) is a three or four-cylinder British sports motorcycle. These bikes were produced from 1991 to 1996 at Hinckley, Leicestershire, England, by Triumph Motorcycles Ltd, the successor business to the defunct Triumph Engineering at Meriden Works, Warwickshire, England. Overview A range of new 750 cc and 900 cc triple-cylinder bikes and 1,000 cc and 1,200 cc four-cylinder bikes were launched at the September 1990 Cologne Motorcycle Show. The Triumph Daytona 955i is a sport bike manufactured by Triumph Motorcycles Ltd, Triumph from 1997 to 2006. A telescopic fork is a form of motorcycle front suspension whose use is so common that it is virtually universal. The telescopic fork uses fork tubes and sliders which contain the springs and Shock absorber, dampers. The main advantages of the telescopic fork are that it is simple in design and relatively cheap to manufacture and assemble, and that it is lighter than older designs using external components and linkage systems. Telescopic forks sometimes have Gaiter (vehicle), gaiters to protect the fork tubes from abrasion and corrosion. The Triumph Bonneville T140 is a standard motorcycle with a capacity engine that was designed and built by Triumph Engineering at Meriden near Coventry. The T140 was a continuation of the second generation in the Bonneville series developed from the earlier T120 Bonneville and was produced by Triumph in a number of versions, including limited editions, from 1973 until 1983 when the company was declared bankrupt, and was purchased by John Bloor.
