Triathle is a sub-sport of modern pentathlon consisting of running, swimming (sport), swimming and shooting sports, shooting. Sport Triathle is an event that involves cross country running, freestyle swimming, and Laser pistol (sport), laser pistol shooting in multiple sequences. Triathlon
A triathlon is an endurance multisport race consisting of swimming, cycling, and running over various distances. Triathletes compete for fastest overall completion time, racing each segment sequentially with the time transitioning between the disciplines included. The word is of Greek origin, from τρεῖς or ''treis'' (three) and ἆθλος or ''athlos'' (competition). Biathle
Biathle is a sub-sport of modern pentathlon invented to create opportunities for training the run and swim parts of pentathlon in real race conditions. It is a sport in its own right. It bears close resemblance to aquathlon which also contains swimming and running but comes from triathlon sport. Sport Biathle is an event that can involve a run―swim―run course, or simply a swim―run course. It is a world class sport but not an Olympic one. The legs are raced with continuous transitions like triathlon. The race length is usually 200 m swim and 3 km run, which is shorter than aquathlon usually is. Laser Pistol (sport)
The laser pistol is a piece of sports equipment used to imitate firearms, and is used in some sports including modern pentathlon, laser-run and triathle competitions. Laser pistols do not fire projectiles and can therefore be safer for spectators and participants. They can also be used in more places since the requirements for a backstop are not as strict except for laser eye safety. Regulation varies between jurisdictions, but they are usually not subject to laws concerning air guns or firearms, and are often sold freely. Technical specifications Only single shot pistols with open sights are allowed. They are loaded by a loading lever, which needs to be operated by the non-shooting hand (typically the weak hand), and fired by a mechanical trigger (typically the strong hand). Laser-run (also known as laser run) is a multisport competition consisting of running and shooting. It is a sport in its own right and the last event of the modern pentathlon where it was formerly known as combined. Distance and format Laser-run is a competition that involves cross country running and laser pistol shooting in multiple sequences. Laser-run competitions are held under rules of the Union Internationale de Pentathlon Moderne (UIPM).
