Trevor Randall
Trevor Randall (born 20 August 1940) is a former Australian rules footballer who played with Hawthorn Football Club, Hawthorn in the Australian Football League, Victorian Football League (VFL). Randall captain-coached Rochester Football Club, Rochester to runners up in 1964 and 1965 in the Bendigo Football League. His father, Viv Randall also played for Hawthorn, and his granddaughter, Pepa Randall plays football in the AFL Women's league. Australian football, also called Australian rules football or Aussie rules, or more simply football or footy, is a contact sport played between two teams of 18 players on an oval field, often a modified cricket ground. Points are scored by kicking the oval ball between the central goal posts (worth six points), or between a central and outer post (worth one point, otherwise known as a "behind"). During general play, players may position themselves anywhere on the field and use any part of their bodies to move the ball. The primary methods are kicking, handballing and running with the ball. Hawthorn Football Club
The Hawthorn Football Club, nicknamed the Hawks, is a professional Australian rules football club based in Mulgrave, Victoria, that competes in the Australian Football League (AFL). The club was founded in 1902 in the inner-east suburb of Hawthorn, making it the youngest Victorian-based team in the AFL. The Rochester Football Netball Club, nicknamed the ''Tigers'', is an Australian rules football and netball club, formed at a meeting held on 8 June 1874 at Tidy's Restdown Hotel. Viv Randall
Herbert Vivian "Viv" Randall (7 March 1914 – 7 September 1985) was an Australian rules footballer who played with Hawthorn Football Club, Hawthorn in the Victorian Football League (1897–1989), Victorian Football League (VFL). Family His son, Trevor Randall, played with Hawthorn in 1960 and his granddaughter Pepa Randall plays for GWS Giants in the AFLW. Football Randall, a wingman, joined Hawthorn from Victorian Football Association (VFA) club Caulfield Football Club, Caulfield. Pepa Randall
Pepa Randall (born 1 April 1996) is an Australian rules footballer playing for the Greater Western Sydney Giants#AFL Women's team, Greater Western Sydney Giants in the AFL Women's (AFLW). Randall played state league football with the Eastern Devils in the VFL Women's competition. She was drafted by with their sixteenth pick and the one hundred and twenty first selection overall in the 2016 AFL Women's draft. Randall failed to play a match with Melbourne in the 2017 AFL Women's season before being traded to in exchange for Ashleigh Guest ahead of 2018. She made her debut in the six point loss to at Casey Fields in the opening round of the 2018 AFL Women's season, 2018 season.
