Tremonti (band)
Tremonti is an American Heavy metal music, heavy metal band founded and fronted by lead vocalist and guitarist Mark Tremonti, best known as the lead guitarist of the rock bands Creed (band), Creed and Alter Bridge. The band also consists of rhythm guitarist Eric Friedman, bassist Tanner Keegan and drummer Ryan Bennett. Bassist Wolfgang Van Halen and drummer Garrett Whitlock are former members of the band. Mark Tremonti's Creed and Alter Bridge bandmate Brian Marshall was also a member in 2012. What originally started as a Mark Tremonti solo project evolved into a fully fledged band that has released six studio albums: ''All I Was'' in 2012, ''Cauterize (album), Cauterize'' in 2015, ''Dust (Tremonti album), Dust'' in 2016, ''A Dying Machine'' in 2018, ''Marching in Time'' in 2021, and ''The End Will Show Us How'' in 2025. ''A Dying Machine'' is the fourth studio album and first concept album by American heavy metal band Tremonti. It was released on June 8, 2018, via Napalm Records. The record was produced by Michael "Elvis" Baskette, who produced Tremonti's past three records and also produced Alter Bridge's records. The album also features Eric Friedman playing bass once again since Wolfgang Van Halen departed the band. The album is accompanied by a full-length novel under the same name written by Mark Tremonti and John Shirley, tying together loose ends of the album's plot. Frontman Mark Tremonti stated that the album is the most dynamic and diverse in his entire catalog. The album's first radio single, "Take You with Me", was released April 16, 2018.
