Tor Fuglevik
Tor Fuglevik (born 7 April 1950) is a Norwegian radio and television executive. While Director General for Radio at the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation, Fuglevik founded the very first all-digital radio channel ( DAB) in the world. The NRK Klassisk channel, broadcasting classical music 24 hours a day, was launched on 1 June 1995. Tor Fuglevik holds degrees from the Norwegian School of Journalism in Oslo and the University of Oslo. He started his career as a radio news reporter for the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation (NRK) in 1971. He was appointed Head of Information at the Norwegian Ministry of Justice and the Police in 1976. Fuglevik has since held various positions at NRK, acting as Regional Manager, Radio Director General and Dep. Director General. Morten Krogvold
Morten Krogvold (born 3 May 1950) is a Norwegian photographer and writer. Krogvold is especially known for his portraits of artists, politicians and other celebrities. He has published numerous books, held numerous exhibitions. Early life and education Born in Oslo to calculator Gulbrand Leo Krogvold (1908–88) and mother Bodil Jacobsen (1913–88). Krogvold grew up in Lille Langerud in Oslo. At the age of twelve he acquired his own darkroom and became an enthusiastic amateur photographer. He received his professional training as a photographer at the Oslo Vocational School from 1973 to 1974, with Margaret Fosseide as his teacher. He was employed by the National Film Board from 1971 to 1981, a period that formed the basis for his development and interest in art. Norges Televisjon
Norges Televisjon AS, or NTV, operates the digital terrestrial television (DTT) network in Norway. The infrastructure is owned by the Telenor-subsidiary Norkring, while the content is provided by the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation (NRK) and RiksTV. The company is owned in equal parts by NRK, TV 2 and Telenor. The same companies also own RiksTV. RiksTV offers a range of pay television channels. NTV was established in 2002, and received a 15-year concession in 2006. DTT was introduced gradually starting in 2007, and by the end of 2008, full coverage had been reached. In 2008, the analog shutdown started, which was completed by December 2009.
