Antony de Vit ( ; 12 September 1957 – 2 July 1998) – accessed May 2011 was an English DJ and music producer. He is considered one of the most influential of his generation. Kidderminster is a market town and civil parish in Worcestershire, England, south-west of Birmingham and north of Worcester, England, Worcester. Gatecrasher
Gatecrasher is an international clubbing brand made famous by the "Gatecrasher" (later "Crasher") dance music events, which were held at the Republic nightclub in Sheffield, UK during the late 1990s and early 2000s. The promoters of the brand were Simon Raine and Simon Oates and, until 2004, Scott Bond. By August 2014, the only Gatecrasher venue remaining was located in the United Kingdom city of Birmingham. Smokin Jo (born Joanne Joseph) is a British DJ and record producer from London, England. She is the only female DJ to win the number one DJ in the world award by ''DJ Mag'' in 1992. Trade was a culturally important gay club night held at Turnmills in London founded in 1990 by Laurence Malice. History Early years 1990–1995 Trade originated as an underground club night beneath Turnmills pub in Clerkenwell Road. Trade was the second nightclub Laurence had run at Turnmills; his first was Xanadu, which he co-hosted with the club promoter Robert Pereno. Laurence was a member of the electronic music duo Big Bang when he opened Trade. The history of Trade is inextricably linked with the evolution of Turnmills as a club venue. Heaven (nightclub)
Heaven is a gay superclub in Charing Cross, London, England. It has played a central role and had a major influence in the development of London's LGBT scene for over 40 years and is home to long-running gay night G-A-Y. The club is known for Paul Oakenfold's acid house events in the 1980s, the underground nightclub festival Megatripolis, and for being the birthplace of ambient house. Soundshaft also hosted Future, a regular night on Thursdays run by Paul Oakenfold. A superclub is a very large or superior nightclub, often with several rooms with different themes.
