Tom Scherrer
Thomas Cregg Scherrer (born July 20, 1970) is an American professional golfer. Scherrer was born in Syracuse, New York and grew up in Skaneateles, New York. He attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He played for the American team in the 1991 Walker Cup. He lost to Justin Leonard in the finals of the 1992 U.S. Amateur. Scherrer turned professional in 1992, and has spent a relatively equal amount of time on the PGA Tour and Nationwide Tour. He was a member of the PGA Tour in 1996, 1999–2003, and in 2008; he played on the Nationwide Tour from 1994–1995, 1997–1998, 2004–2007 and in 2009. He has one PGA Tour victory, the 2000 Kemper Insurance Open and three Nationwide Tour wins. Hugh Royer III
Hugh Royer III (born February 13, 1964) is an American professional golfer and golf instructor. He is the son of Hugh Royer Jr., who played on the PGA Tour for 14 years and won the 1970 Western Open. Royer was born in Columbus, Georgia and spent the majority of his childhood traveling with his father on Tour. Royer received a scholarship to Mississippi State University where he played for two years. In those two seasons, Royer had one tournament win and seven top-10 finishes, and held the low stroke average each year. He then transferred to Columbus State University for his junior and senior years, where his father served as head golf coach. David Toms
David Wayne Toms (born January 4, 1967) is an American professional golfer who currently plays on the PGA Tour Champions. From 1992 to 2017, Toms was a member of the PGA Tour, where he won 13 events, including one major, the 2001 PGA Championship. He was in the top 10 of the Official World Golf Ranking for 175 weeks between 2001 and 2006, and ranked as high as fifth in 2002 and 2003. Early life and amateur career Toms was born in Monroe in northeastern Louisiana. He is the son of Thomas Edward "Buster" Toms of Minden in northwestern Louisiana. The BMW Charity Pro-Am is a golf tournament on the Korn Ferry Tour. It is currently played at Thornblade Club (host course) in Greer, South Carolina and The Carolina Country Club in Spartanburg, South Carolina. From 1992 to 2000, the event was played at Verdae Greens Golf Club in Greenville. When the event changed to a pro-am format in 2001, it moved to The Cliffs in Travelers Rest, South Carolina, using the Valley and Keowee Vineyards courses. The Walnut Cove course was added in 2005. Tommy Armour III
Thomas Dickson Armour III (born October 8, 1959) is an American professional golfer. Armour first joined the PGA Tour in 1981 at the age of 21. He has two career PGA Tour victories, winning the 1990 Phoenix Open and the 2003 Valero Texas Open. Armour previously held the scoring record for best overall 72 hole score (254), which he set with his Valero Texas Open victory in 2003, until it was surpassed in 2017 by Justin Thomas. Armour is the grandson of three-time major champion Tommy Armour. He lost his Tour card in 2006 due to an injury; Armour finished 110th on the 2007 PGA Tour money list, earning his card for 2008.
