Hugh Royer III
Hugh Royer III (born February 13, 1964) is an American professional golfer and golf instructor. Early life Royer was born in Columbus, Georgia. He is the son of the professional golfer Hugh Royer Jr., who played on the PGA Tour for 14 years and won the 1970 Western Open. He spent the majority of his childhood traveling with his father on Tour. Amateur career Royer received a scholarship to Mississippi State University where he played for two years. In those two seasons, Royer had one tournament win and seven top-10 finishes, and held the low stroke average each year. He then transferred to Columbus State University for his junior and senior years, where his father served as head golf coach. He was NCAA Division II Player of the Year and First Team All-American in 1985 and 1986. He was named 1987 Amateur Player of the Year by the Carolinas Golf Reporter. The South African PGA Championship is one of the most prestigious golf tournaments on the Sunshine Tour. It has most recently been played in September, with a prize fund of . Desmond Terblanche (born 27 October 1965) is a South African professional golfer who plays currently on the Sunshine Tour. Robin Freeman (golfer)
Robin Freeman (born May 7, 1959) is an American professional golfer. He has played on the PGA Tour, Nationwide Tour, and Champions Tour. Freeman was born in St. Charles, Missouri. He attended the University of Central Oklahoma and turned professional in 1983. He was inducted into the University of Central Oklahoma's Sports Hall of Fame in 2021. Freeman began playing on the PGA Tour in 1989 after being medalist at qualifying school in 1988. He has bounced back and forth between the PGA Tour and its developmental tour, the Nike Tour. He won twice on the Nike Tour, both in 1998. His best finish on the PGA Tour is a T-2 at the 1995 GTE Byron Nelson Classic. The 1990–91 Southern Africa Tour was the 20th season of the Southern Africa Tour, the main professional golf tour in South Africa since it was formed in 1971. Season outline The early half of the season was dominated by John Bland (golfer), John Bland and Fulton Allem who alternated between wins for the first six events. The first event of the season was a medal match play event, the Minolta Copiers Match Play, with Bland victorious. Allem won the next event, the Twee Jonge Gezellen Masters with Bland finishing solo third. At the following event, the Bloemfontein Classic, Bland was victorious. NCAA Division II Men's Golf Championships
The NCAA Division II Men's Golf Championships, played in late May, is an annual competition in U.S. men's collegiate golf. From its inception through 2010, it was a 72-hole stroke play team competition, with an additional award for the lowest scoring individual competitor. The team format changed starting in 2011 to 54 holes of stroke play followed by an eight-team single elimination medal match play competition. The 54-hole individual leader is the individual champion. Many of the individual champions have gone on to successful professional careers. Kim In-Kyung, also called In-Kyung Kim and I. K. Kim (born 13 June 1988), is a South Korean professional golfer currently playing on the LPGA Tour. Amateur career Kim was a member of the Korean National Team in 2003 and 2004 and won three tournaments on the International Junior Golf tour.
