Tom Lister (actor)
Tom Lister (born Thomas Brown; 21 June 1978) is an English actor, known for his roles as Carl King in ''Emmerdale'' from 2004 to 2012, Harry Wainwright in '' Heartbeat'' and Rob Ingram in ''The Bill''. Early and personal life Lister was born as Thomas Brown, but took on his mother's maiden name when acting to avoid confusion with another actor under the name of Tom Brown. He is married to secondary school headteacher Jennifer Humpage and they have two sons. Lister is a Christian. He studied at Birmingham School of Acting (BSA) for three years and graduated in 2001. Career Lister began his career making appearances in series including '' Heartbeat'', ''Doctors'' and ''The Bill''. ''Coronation Street'' (colloquially referred to as ''Corrie'') is a British television soap opera created by ITV Granada, Granada Television and shown on ITV (TV network), ITV since 9 December 1960. British Soap Award For Villain Of The Year
The British Soap Award for Villain of the Year is an award presented annually by the British Soap Awards. Upon its inception, the award was voted for by a panel, until in 2006, it opened as a publicly voted category. This remained until 2014. However, in 2023, it was once again opened as a public vote. 2012 British Soap Awards
The 2012 British Soap Awards honoured the best in British soap operas throughout 2011 and 2012. The ceremony was held on 28 April 2012 at the London Studios, Lambeth, and was later broadcast on ITV1 (TV channel), ITV1 and STV (TV channel), STV. The publicly voted categories were announced on 27 February 2012, with the vote opening that same day. This included a longlist for the British Soap Award for Best Actress, Best Actress and British Soap Award for Best Actor, Actor awards. ''42nd Street'' is a 1980 stage musical with a book by Michael Stewart and Mark Bramble, lyrics by Al Dubin and Johnny Mercer and music by Harry Warren. The 1980 Broadway production won the Tony Awards for Best Musical and Best Choreography and it became a long-running hit. The show was also produced in London in 1984 (winning the Olivier Award for Best Musical) and its 2001 Broadway revival won the Tony Award for Best Revival. Based on the 1932 novel by Bradford Ropes and the subsequent 1933 Hollywood film adaptation, this backstage musical follows the rehearsal process of a Broadway show staged during the height of the Great Depression. James Butler Hickok (May 27, 1837August 2, 1876), better known as "Wild Bill" Hickok, was a folk hero of the American Old West known for his life on the frontier as a soldier, reconnaissance, scout, lawman, cattle rustler, gunslinger, gambler, showman, and actor, and for his involvement in many famous gunfighter, gunfights. Curve, also known as Curve Theatre, is a theatre in Leicester, England, based in the cultural quarter in Leicester City Centre. Previously, it had been called Leicester Performing Arts Centre. It is adjacent to the Leicester Athena conference and banqueting centre.
