Nicolás Pereda (born 1982) is a Mexican-Canadian film director. To date, he has directed nine features and three short films. Personal life Pereda was born in Mexico City in 1982; he holds dual Mexican and Canadian citizenship and is a resident of Toronto, where he studied filmmaking at York University. He received his Bachelor degree of Fine Arts in Films in 2005 and his Master in 2007.
