Tito Rubio
Evaristo "Tito" Rubio (February 5, 1902 – March 8, 1938) was an American mobster of Cuban descent and an associate of businessman and crime boss Charlie Wall. Rubio was also a leader in Tampa's Cuban community, prominently involved in illegal numbers racket with Wall. Early life Rubio was born on February 5, 1902, in Tampa, Florida. Turf wars and death Wall and Rubio had been involved in a violent turf war with Ignacio Antinori. Eddie Virella, Rubio's associate and a co-owner of the Eldorado Club, was shot down by gunmen on January 31, 1937. Charlie Wall
Charles McKay Wall (March 10, 1880 – April 18, 1955) Charlie Wall's tombstone was an American businessman, mobster, and political figure who was a rival to reputed mobsters Santo Trafficante Sr. and Santo Trafficante Jr. His parents were John Perry Wall and Matilda McKay, daughter of former Tampa Mayor. Wall rapidly gained status within the criminal underworld from his early endeavors in the operation of several gambling, prostitution, and illegal numbers rackets. He was beaten with a baseball bat, his throat slit and killed, on April 18, 1955. He was buried in Tampa's Oaklawn Cemetery . Ignacio Antinori
Ignacio Antinori (February 17, 1885 – October 23, 1940) was an Italian-born American mobster who built one of the earlier narcotics trafficking networks in Florida. Antinori was regarded as the first boss of the Tampa crime family, later known as the Trafficante crime family. Although much of his early life is unknown, Antinori was one of the first mobsters to emerge in Florida during the Prohibition era. By the 1930s, Antinori was one of the largest heroin traffickers in the country, with close ties to French-Corsican heroin traffickers and American mafia bosses. Antinori established a drug pipeline from Marseille, France through Cuba into Tampa, Florida.
