Tita (Lord Byron)
Giovanni Battista Falcieri (known as “Tita”) (1798–1874) was the personal servant of Lord Byron and was present at his death in Missolonghi in 1824. He later accompanied Benjamin Disraeli on his tour of the Orient, before becoming the valet of Isaac D'Israeli. Employment by Lord Byron Tita was a gondolier and it was in that capacity that he first entered Lord Byron's service in 1818 during Byron's sojourn in Venice. He later became Byron's personal attendant and appears frequently in the correspondence of Byron's friends and acquaintances. Tita Tovenaar
Tita Tovenaar or TiTa Tovenaar (translation: ''Tita the wizard'') is a Dutch children's television series, which was produced by the Nederlandse Omroep Stichting and ran between 1972 and 1974. At the time it was popular enough to inspire audio plays and a comic strip. ''Tita Tovenaar'' remained popular in repeats and was adapted into a 2005 stage musical. Between 2008 and 2009 it briefly returned to Dutch TV screens in a new version. 1972-1974 version ''Tita Tovenaar'' is set in a castle in the clouds, where Tita the absent-minded wizard lives with his daughter Tika. The ''pithos'', which exists only as an incomplete set of sherds, carries one of two earliest known inscriptions in Latin language (the ''Vendia inscription'') and is usually, but not unanimously, interpreted as the earliest instance of a bipartite female Latin name with praenomen and gentilicum. Discovery The sherds of the vase were found by Raniero Mengarelli and deposited in the collection of Museo di Villa Giulia. Ruggero Tita (born 20 March 1992) is an Italian sailor. He competed at the 2020 Summer Olympics and 2024 Summer Olympics, with Caterina Banti, in Nacra 17, winning two gold medals. From the age of 12 on the national team, he conquered the title of Italian champion in the Optimist class at 13 years old, later he became European Team race champion and Swiss Open champion. He competed in the 29er class and after a short period he moved on to the 49er class where he became an Italian champion. In 2015, he won the Olympic Week on Lake Garda and subsequently the U23 Youth European Champion and the silver medal at the U23 Youth World Championship. Vasile Tiţă (21 February 1928 – 24 June 2013) was a Romanian amateur middleweight boxer. He won a silver medal at his first major international tournament, the 1952 Olympics, losing in the final to Floyd Patterson. After that he competed at the 1953, 1955 and 1957 European championships with the best result of reaching the quarterfinals in 1955. Ștefan Tita (born Teodor Solomon; 14 August 1905 – 1 September 1977) was a Romanian left-wing activist and writer in multiple genres. He had his poetic debut as a teenager in 1919, after which he became noted first for his pacifist prose, and later for his contributions to social realism. Before World War II, he had also specialized in satire, and, reflecting his own History of the Jews in Romania, Jewish roots, had taken up work in the revue genre at State Jewish Theater (Romania), The Barașeum. After becoming a disciple of Ion Pas, Tita was attracted into the socialist and anti-fascist movement, joining the Romanian Social Democratic Party (1927–1948), Social Democratic Party and working as editor of its press organs.
