Tidy Boys
The Tidy Boys are a UK-based hard dance music duo formed of Andy Pickles and Amadeus Mozart. They are known for creating the Tidy Trax record label, and their hard house DJ and production work. Pickles and Mozart are also known as Hyperlogic, the Handbaggers, and Untidy Dubs. History The Rotherham-based Andy Pickles and Kettering-based Amadeus Mozart founded the Tidy Trax record label in 1995. Mozart, who changed his name by deed poll in 1986, had previously worked for the '' Keep Kettering Tidy'' campaign, which was the inspiration for the name of the label and the group. Pickles was previously the guiding influence behind the Jive Bunny and the Mastermixers series. Rotherham
Rotherham ( ) is a market town in South Yorkshire, England. It lies at the confluence of the River Rother, South Yorkshire, River Rother, from which the town gets its name, and the River Don, Yorkshire, River Don. Euphoria (compilations)
''Euphoria'' is a series of dance music compilations that debuted on the Telstar Records label in early 1999. During the first year, ''Euphoria'' focused primarily on trance music until mid-2000 when ''Euphoria'' released the first chill-out album in the series and the first hard house album in late 2000. ''Euphoria'' was later spun off into a number of associated club nights around the UK, Ibiza and Cyprus. Over the course of three years, in excess of 500 tour dates were chalked up with tour DJs such as Adam White, Robert Van Ryn, Simon Webdale and Darren James. The compilations included box sets usually priced at around £20.00. The ''Euphoria'' albums were of high quality and still are highly collectible and the earlier versions are somewhat rare. Kutski
John Walker (born on 4 February 1982) known by his stage name, Kutski is a British radio DJ, from Chester, England. He presented various shows for BBC Radio 1, playing a variety of hard dance music, including breakbeat, electro, hard trance, hardcore and hardstyle. Kutski now produces and hosts a weekly podcast, "Keeping the Rave Alive", which plays music similar to that heard on his BBC Radio 1 shows. Career Kutski started DJing when he was 15 years old. The first big event he played was Elevate in Bangor, which resulted in earning a residency. Since then he has appeared at underground and mainstream hard dance clubs across the UK. He incorporates DMC-style scratching and mixing into every set. His residencies have included Tasty in London, Ripsnorter in Bristol, and Elevate in Bangor. Amber D (born 1982) is a British hard dance DJ from Staffordshire. She produces and DJs a variety of genres including Hard House, Trance, Hard Techno and Hard Trance. As Amber D’Amour she plays house, electro, fidget, and tech house. She has been a DJ since late 2001. Her first residency was at the legendary Golden, in Hanley Stoke-on-Trent, where she used to warm up for DJs such as Tiesto, Armin Van Buuren, K-Klass, Mauro Picotto, and she then DJ'd on BPM Radio In 2002, she won a DJ Competition at Fluffy, and started a residency at the club. Lee Haslam
Lee Haslam (born 1975 or 1976) is a British electronic dance music disc jockey and hard house music producer. He has achieved chart success in the UK, performed a BBC Essential Mix, and is also general manager of the Tidy record label. Career Haslam was inspired by Tony De Vit and began his interest in DJing in the 1990s, with his first gig in 1996 in Doncaster. He applied for a job at record label Tidy Trax, and passed the interview by showcasing his DJ skills. Initially doing commercial mixes he moved into club promotions and by the year 2000 had been promoted to label manager. From 2007, until the closure in 2013, he was the director of the Slinky nightclub in Bournemouth. From 2013 Haslam worked for the Gatecrasher brand organising events in Great Britain and worldwide. Julius O'Riordan (born 26 October 1965), better known by his stage name Judge Jules, is a British dance music DJ, record producer and entertainment lawyer.
