X-Faktor (series 2)
The second season of the Hungarian television music talent show X-Faktor ended on 18 December 2011. Tibor Kocsis was announced as the winner. It was broadcast on the privately owned RTL Klub television station. Auditions Auditions started in spring 2011, with thousands of candidates. Bootcamp Bootcamp was in Thalia Theatre where 150 singers competed. In the first round the contestants sang a song of their choice. The judges immediately told the contestants if they were safe or not. In the second round only 50 contestants competed and they chose a song for themselves from a list. After this, based on the judges decision, 24 contestants went to the third round called "Judges' houses". Judges' houses At this stage of the competition, each judge mentored six acts. ''X-Faktor'' is the Hungarian version of ''The X Factor'', a show originating from the United Kingdom. It is a television music talent show contested by aspiring pop singers drawn from public auditions. The show premiered in 2010 and it continues its success nowadays in the eleventh series. The original judging panel consisted of Feró Nagy, Miklós Malek, Ildikó Keresztes and Péter Geszti. Róbert Szikora, Gabi Tóth, and Róbert Alföldi joined the judging panel in the Fourth series replacing Nagy, Malek and Ildikó Keresztes, who left the show after the Third series, due to career commitments. In series 5br>Little G Weeviltook the place of original judge Geszti, who left the show to focus on his music career. RTL Klub
RTL (formerly: RTL Klub) is a Hungarian free-to-air television channel owned by RTL Group. The channel began broadcasting three days after its main rival TV2, one of Hungary's first commercial TV channels. History Since its start, RTL Klub has focused to gain viewers from the urban population. The channel airs programs mostly for a younger (18-49) audience. Enikő Muri (born 24 April 1990, Nyíregyháza, Hungary) is a Hungarian musical and theatre actress, and singer, most notable for coming in 2nd place on the second season of X-Faktor, the highest placing female contestant for that season. Life Born in Nyíregyháza, Muri was raised in Nagyvarsány. She started singing as a child. In 2006, she took part in a karaoke TV's show on VIVA Hungary, ''Shibuya'', which she won. She then graduated from secondary school in Nyíregyháza and majored in marketing in college. In 2008, she released Szomorú, but was unsuccessful. In 2010, she appeared on the RTL Klub show X-Faktor, but failed. It was a big disappointment for her and almost decided to stop singing, but in 2011, she appeared again in X-Faktor, and this time got into the live broadcast.
