The Thrillseekers
Steve Helstrip, known by the stage name the Thrillseekers, is an English DJ and record producer. His debut single was "Synaesthesia", released in 1999. Helstrip has worked under the guises of En Motion, Insigma, Rapid Eye and Hydra. He also works in remixing, having remixed work by Tiësto, Armin van Buuren, Ferry Corsten, Timo Maas, Sonique (musician), Sonique, Chicane (recording artist), Chicane, Blank & Jones, and Seb Fontaine. He owns his own record label, 'Adjusted Music'. Career Helstrip started out making trance music while working for the computer games developer Manic Media. Whilst living in Chipping Norton, on the Oxfordshire border, he recorded "Synaesthesia" with a home studio. When released by Neo Records in 1999, the single sold over 12,000 copies on its initial release and was heavily supported by musicians including Paul van Dyk and Paul Oakenfold. York (group)
YORK is a German electronic music duo, founded in 1997 by musicians and brothers Torsten and Jörg Stenzel. Producing ambient, downtempo, chillout, house and trance, their productions are known for catchy guitar hooks, atmospheric soundscapes and delicate dance textures. Career Torsten Stenzel began his musical career early in his childhood, learning the piano from the age of five when he began his classical training. In the early 1990s his musical orientation changed, and he discovered the growing techno/house movement. He built his own recording studio. Torsten Stenzel is credited for several gold and platinum awards, an 'Echo' nomination and over three million record sales. Aruna Beth Abrams (born January 16, 1975) is an American singer, songwriter, DJ, producer and pianist. She is best known as a vocalist in dance music since 2007 but has been working as DJ and producer of her own work since 2011. She resides in Los Angeles, California. Early life and career Aruna grew up in Flemington, New Jersey, the daughter of Beatrice and Larry S. Abrams, a clinical pharmaceutical researcher. Her name was suggested by her Indian godfather and means "sunrise" in Hindi. Alexis Strum
Alexis Strum is an English songwriter, singer, actress, and writer. Biography Early life Strum was born and brought up in an Orthodox Jewish family in Chingford, Essex. Aged 6, she began writing songs. Strum formed local bands, performing Elastica and L7 covers, before experimenting with computer-aided production to emulate the sound of a full live band on her own. She studied English at King's College London, gaining a degree in English Literature.
