The Sketches
The Sketches () is a Sufi folk rock band from Jamshoro, Sindh, Pakistan, created by young musician Saif Samejo. "Sindhi melody is very charming; there is enormous flexibility of words" says Saif Samejo. Their motherland has always been a major inspiration which is portrayed in their work. The love for their language and culture is aimed to bring back the departed old identity and to produce quality work in order to sensitize the world in general and the youth in specific about the grace of Sindhi language. In May 2014 he has opened the first music Aashram (School) in Hyderabad, Sindh named as "Lahooti Music Aashram". Jamshoro
Jamshoro (, ) is a city and the capital of Jamshoro District, in Sindh, Pakistan. It is on the right bank of the Indus River, approximately northwest of Hyderabad and northeast of the provincial capital of Sindh, Karachi. This city is popularly known as Education City. Coke Studio Pakistan (season 11)
The eleventh season of Pakistani music television series '' Coke Studio Pakistan'', titled as Coke Studio: The Sound of Nation, premiered in Pakistan on 10 August 2018. Musicians Ali Hamza and Zohaib Kazi were announced as a new producers and directors for the series, after Strings stepped down from the role to pursue their own music. The series was produced under Kazi and Hamza's production company Front Foot Media and was distributed by The Coca-Cola Company Pakistan. As a part of new module, Kazi and Hamza created a spin-off series '' Coke Studio Explorer'' which was released on 3 July 2018 and featured regional but largely unknown artists across the country where their performances were recorded live. Coke Studio Pakistan (season 4)
The fourth season of the Pakistani music television series ''Coke Studio Pakistan'' commenced airing on 22 May 2011 and ended on 17 July 2011. Rohail Hyatt and his wife Umber Hyatt remained as the producers of the show. The houseband recruited drummer Raheel Manzar Paul and vocalist Rachel Viccaji. The houseband saw Sanam Saeed and Saba Shabbir leaving the band and the rest of the houseband remained unchanged. Artists Sanam Marvi made a return to the fourth season of the show performing for the second time at ''Coke Studio'', she first appeared in the previous season. ''Sassui Punnhun'' or ''Sassi Punnu'' is a traditional Sindhi, Balochi, and Punjabi tragic folktale. Set in Sindh and Makran, the tragedy follows the story of a faithful lover who endures many difficulties while seeking her beloved husband who was separated from her by rivals. It is one of the seven popular tragic romances of Sindh. The other six are '' Umar Marvi'', '' Momal Rano'', '' Sohni Mehar'', '' Lilan Chanesar'', '' Sorath Rai Diyach'', and '' Noori Jam Tamachi''. Dholak
The ''dholak'' is a two-headed hand drum, a folk percussion instrument. Flute
The flute is a member of a family of musical instruments in the woodwind group. Like all woodwinds, flutes are aerophones, producing sound with a vibrating column of air.
