The Life List
''The Life List'' is a 2025 American romantic comedy drama film, starring Sofia Carson, Kyle Allen and Connie Britton. It was written and directed by Adam Brooks and adapted from the novel of the same name by Lori Nelson Spielman. After the death of her mother, Alex revisits her childhood aspirations, endeavoring to achieve her old goals, only to discover that pursuing these lifelong dreams takes her on an unforeseen and surprising journey. The film was released by Netflix on March 28, 2025. Plot As Alex's mother Elizabeth succumbs to metastatic cancer, she eradicates Alex's job at Rose Cosmetics, and her CEO position goes to her daughter-in-law. Adam Brooks (filmmaker)
Adam Brooks (born September 3, 1956) is a Canadians, Canadian film director, screenwriter, and actor. He is best known for writing and directing ''Definitely, Maybe'' (2008) and for writing screenplays for ''French Kiss (1995 film), French Kiss'' (1995), ''Wimbledon (film), Wimbledon'' (2004), and ''Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason (film), Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason'' (2004). His first film as a writer-director ''Almost You'' won the Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival in 1985. Brooks served as a council member of the Writers Guild of America East and is currently on the board of the Writers Guild of America East Foundation. Jordi Mollà Perales () is a Spanish actor, artist, writer, and filmmaker.
