The Hard Corps (Rap Rock Band)
Stone Deep is an American rock band from Nashville, Tennessee. The group formed in 1992 following the major label run of its predecessor, The Hard Corps, and reunited in 2022. The band plays rap rock, rap metal, and hard rock - each as a different amalgam of Southern rap and guitar-driven rock ‘n’ roll and with a lyrical focus on social issues. The band navigated several lineup changes through the 1990s and then, after a 23-year hiatus began performing and releasing music again in 2022. The current lineup consists of founding members Ronzo "The Beast" Cartwright, Glen Cummings, and DJ KUTT/Terry Hayes together with the longest serving rhythm section: bassist Tim Books and drummer David Howard. Rap Rock
Rap rock is a music genre that developed from the early to mid-1980s, when hip hop DJs incorporated rock records into their routines and rappers began incorporating original and sampled rock instrumentation into hip hop music. Rap rock is considered to be rock music in which lyrics are rapped, rather than sung. The genre achieved its greatest success in the late 1990s and early 2000s. Characteristics ''AllMusic'' characterized rap rock songs as rock songs in which the vocals were rapped rather than sung. ''AllMusic'' also states that the rhythms of rap rock are rooted in those of hip hop, with more funk influences than normal hard rock. Ludichrist
Ludichrist is an American crossover thrash band formed in Long Island, New York in 1984. They are one of the crossover movement's most prominent groups, alongside Dirty Rotten Imbeciles, D.R.I. History Early history and recordings Ludichrist was founded in 1984 by Al Batross (aka Al Bazin) and Mark Durnex (aka Mark Kanabrocki) in Long Island, New York. The first line-up included Batross on drums, Durnex on guitar, Chud on vocals, and Chuck Valle on bass. Batross, the group's first wordsmith named the group and wrote the lyrics for the core group of songs the band played. Durnex wrote the songs. Alison Maria Krauss (born July 23, 1971) is an American bluegrass-country singer, fiddler and music producer. Progressive Rock
