"The First Snow" (; ) is a song by South Korean–Chinese boy band Exo. It was released on December 9, 2013, as a B-side track from their second extended play ''Miracles in December''. It was released in both Korean and Chinese versions by their label SM Entertainment. The track is a pop-ballad with heartfelt lyrics reminiscing about a former lover. "The First Snow" has seen a significant rise in popularity each December since it was released. It initially debuted at number two on the Gaon Digital Chart in South Korea in 2013. Since then, it has returned to the charts in the holiday season following the arrival of the first snowfall. Presented as a special winter album, ''Miracles in December'' is a follow-up to the group's first studio album '' XOXO'', which was released in June 2013.
