Boynextdoor
BoyNextDoor (; stylized in all caps) is a South Korean boy band formed by KOZ Entertainment. The group consists of six members: Sungho, Riwoo, Jaehyun, Taesan, Leehan, and Woonhak. The group debuted on May 30, 2023, with the single album '' Who!''. History 2019–2023: Formation and introduction In 2019, rapper-producer Zico founded KOZ Entertainment as a subsidiary of Hybe Corporation. Members Sungho and Riwoo passed their auditions for the agency in September 2021. In 2022, Zico confirmed that the agency was in the process of producing a boy band, with himself serving as its producer. He stated in an interview on the web series Turkiyes on the Block that he will "break the predictable formula" in regards to the group. On April 16, 2023, the agency announced the formation of their first boy band, named BoyNextDoor, through the release of a "logo motion" on YouTube. ''Who!'' is the debut single album by South Korean boy band BoyNextDoor. It was released on May 30, 2023, by KOZ Entertainment, a subsidiary of Hybe Corporation. The single album contains three tracks, "But I Like You", "One and Only", and "Serenade", which were all released as singles. Background and release On April 12, 2023, KOZ Entertainment announced the formation of their first boy group through the release of clips on YouTube. A few days later on April 16, the group's logo was published on YouTube through the Hybe Label's official channel, revealing their name as BoyNextDoor. The following month on May 2, KOZ announced that the group would debut with their first single album titled ''Who!''. The Oricon Albums Chart is the Japanese music industry standard albums popularity chart issued daily, weekly, monthly and yearly by Oricon. Oricon originally published LP, CT, Cartridge and CD charts prior to the establishment of the Oricon Albums Chart on October 5, 1987. The Oricon Albums Chart's rankings are based on physical albums' sales. Oricon did not include download sales until its establishment of the Digital Albums Chart on November 19, 2016.
