John Anthony White (; born July 9, 1975) is an American musician who achieved international fame as the guitarist and lead singer of the rock duo the White Stripes. ''Blueberry Boat'' is the second album by American indie rock band The Fiery Furnaces. It was released on July 13, 2004, just over ten months following their debut album, '' Gallowsbird's Bark''. ''Blueberry Boat'' polarized music critics due to its long, complex songs and esoteric lyrics. Music and lyrics More than twenty different instruments were used in the creation of this album, including the sitar, which was substituted for guitar on some songs. Camber Sands
Camber Sands is a beach in East Sussex, England, in the village of Camber, near Rye. It is the only sand dune system in East Sussex. Located east of the estuary of the River Rother at Rye Bay, it stretches to just beyond the Kent border, where shingle (pebbles) take over again. It is one of three stretches of sand above the high tide mark east of Poole Bay on England's south coast, the others being West Wittering and Avon Beach. All Tomorrow's Parties (ATP) was a UK organisation based in London that promoted music festivals, concerts and records throughout the world for over 10 years. It was founded by Barry Hogan in 2001 in preparation for the first All Tomorrow's Parties Festival, the line-up of which was picked by Mogwai and took place at Pontins, Camber Sands, England. Named after the song " All Tomorrow's Parties" by the Velvet Underground, the festival exhibited a tendency towards post-rock, indie rock, avant-garde music, and underground hip hop, along with more traditional rock fare presented in smaller venues than typical stadium performances. Toshi Yano is an American rock musician who plays bass and keyboard. He was a founding member of the Washington, D.C., hardcore band Battery (hardcore punk band), Battery, the New York hardcore band Violent Bullshit (band), Violent Bullshit, and Kapow!, a Brooklyn-based band. Yano also worked as a recording and mixing engineer. Kapow! was an eight-piece band, fronted by Yano, which included Tris McCall on keyboards and The Negatones frontmen Jay and Justin Braun.
