Andy Knowles
Andy Knowles (born Andrew John Knowles; 30 June 1981, in Bolton) is an artist, director and musician. Knowles started his drumming career with Skuta, and then in 2003 formed the cult group I Love Lucy out of the Glaswegian Art rock scene. Touring as drum tech with Glaswegian band Franz Ferdinand, Knowles met Matthew and Eleanor Friedberger of the New York band The Fiery Furnaces and was invited to join the group. Bolton
Bolton (, locally ) is a large town in Greater Manchester in North West England, formerly a part of Lancashire. A former mill town, Bolton has been a production centre for textiles since Flemish weavers settled in the area in the 14th century, introducing a wool and cotton-weaving tradition. The urbanisation and development of the town largely coincided with the introduction of textile manufacture during the Industrial Revolution. Bolton was a 19th-century boomtown and, at its zenith in 1929, its 216 cotton mills and 26 bleaching and dyeing works made it one of the largest and most productive centres of cotton spinning in the world. Eleanor Friedberger (born September 2, 1976) is an American singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. She is best known as one half of the indie rock duo The Fiery Furnaces, alongside her older brother Matthew Friedberger. In the band she contributes the majority of the vocals both on record and during their live performances. In 2011, The Fiery Furnaces went on hiatus, with both Friedberger siblings embarking upon solo careers.
