The Enigma Birth
''The Enigma Birth'' is the fourth and final full-length album by Timo Tolkki's Finnish metal opera project Avalon (Finnish band), Avalon, released on June 18, 2021. As with the previous effort, several heavy metal singers were invited to play the characters of the story of the album. The album was announced on 14 April 2021 alongside a video for "Beauty and War" (featuring Raphael Mendes). On 27 of the same month, a video for "Master of Hell", also featuring Mendes, was released. On 10 May, Avalon released a video for "The Fire and the Sinner" (featuring Jake E and Brittney Slayes). On the day of the album's release, a lyric video for "Beautiful Lie" (featuring James LaBrie) was published. According to Tolkki, he created a fourth part for the trilogy out of contractual obligations with Frontiers Records. Avalon (Finnish Band)
Timo Tolkki's Avalon (also known simply as Avalon) was a Finnish metal opera project created by Timo Tolkki (formerly of Stratovarius, Revolution Renaissance and Symfonia) in 2013. According to Tolkki "I find the Metal Opera concept fascinating and logical to me at this point of my career. I love classical music and just like in Classical Opera, in the Metal Opera you can also create stories and have almost limitless possibilities musically". DGM ("Diego, Gianfranco and Maurizio", after the founding members) is an Italian progressive metal band. Over the course of the band's history, they have had numerous line-up changes, with none of the founding members are in the band's current line up with eight previous members since 1994. Concept is an Italian progressive power metal band, formed in 2000. History After a short experience under the name of ''A.T.T. Revolution Renaissance was a multinational power metal band founded by guitarist Timo Tolkki after he left Stratovarius in 2008. The band released three studio albums before disbanding in 2010. Stratovarius is a Finnish power metal band. Formed in 1984, they have released sixteen studio albums, six DVDs and six live albums. The band's line-up has changed many times, with no founding member left since the departure of drummer Tuomo Lassila in 1995, and no member from their early recording days left following guitarist Timo Tolkki's departure in 2008. Currently, the longest standing member is singer Timo Kotipelto, who joined in 1994.
