The Confession Room
''The Confession Room'' is a British musical comedy written by Dan Looney (music, lyrics & original concept), Patrick Wilde (book), Reece Looney (additional lyrics & original concept) and Sam Champness (additional lyrics). Plot "The Confession Room" is the name of support group in the heart of New York where people come to get things off of their chest, however embarrassing or silly. These "confessions" range from a guy who admits to having a slightly "different" ex-girlfriend, to a girl who is tired of being treated as just a "ditsy" blonde. The story centres around the groups counsellor, Caroline and a mysterious newcomer to the group, Oliver, who has the desire to wreak havoc among the group and to finish the room for good. Patrick Wilde
Patrick Wilde is an England, English playwright, screenwriter, actor, and director for television, film and theatre. Early work Most of Wilde's early work was centred on the classics. He played Hamlet, Mark Antony for ATC and Amnon in Tirso de Molina's ''Rape of Tamar'' at the Lyric Theatre (Hammersmith), Lyric Theatre in London. He directed several productions of Shakespeare, as well as the British premiere of Schiller's Intrigue and Love, ''Cabal and Love'' at the Lyric. ''Rent'' (stylized in all caps) is a rock musical with music, lyrics, and book by Jonathan Larson. Loosely based on the 1896 opera ''La bohème'' by Giacomo Puccini, Luigi Illica, and Giuseppe Giacosa, it tells the story of a group of impoverished young artists struggling to survive and create a life in Lower Manhattan's East Village, in the thriving days of the bohemian culture of Alphabet City, under the shadow of HIV/AIDS. The Landor Theatre is a Public house, pub theatre in Clapham, South London. Originally the Cage Theatre upon its opening in 1994, the Landor became "Upstairs at the Landor" in 1995 and finally the Landor Theatre in 1998, following a refit of the building. Jon Robyns (born 8 December 1982) is a British stage actor, who is best known for playing Jean Valjean in ''Les Misérables'' and the title role in ''The Phantom of the Opera'' in London's West End.
