The Catherine Tate Show (series 2)
The second series of the British television sketch comedy premiered on BBC Two on 21 July 2005. This series included six episodes with the concluding episode broadcast on 25 August 2005. A Christmas Special followed the second series and was screened on BBC Two on 20 December 2005. Series two introduced several new major characters including Derek Faye, Irene and Vernon, and Janice and Ray; as well as returning characters Joannie 'Nan' Taylor, Lauren Cooper, Bernie, Paul and Sam, Kate and Ellen, Elaine Figgis, and The Aga Saga Woman. BBC Two
BBC Two is a British free-to-air public broadcast television network owned and operated by the BBC. Niky Wardley
Nichola Petra "Niky" Wardley (born 11 August 1973) is an English stage and screen actress. Her most notable role is schoolgirl Lauren Cooper's sidekick in the BBC's Emmy and BAFTA-nominated sketch series ''The Catherine Tate Show'' (2004–2007). She also appeared alongside Catherine Tate in the Netflix mockumentary sitcom '' Hard Cell'' (2022) and played the lead role in the BBC One sitcom '' In with the Flynns'' (2011–2012). Aschlin Ditta (born 20 June 1968) is a British television and film screenwriter and actor. Biography Aschlin Ditta was born on 20 June 1968 in Barnet, north London, UK, and was brought up in Leicester and then Ely in the Fens, attending King's Ely school. Derren Ronald Litten (born 21 December 1970) is an English comedy writer and actor, best known as the creator and writer of the sitcom ''Benidorm''. Litten also co-wrote ''The Catherine Tate Show'', for which he both wrote and appeared as several different characters in the first two series and the 2005 Christmas Special. Gordon Anderson (director)
Gordon Anderson is a British television director, best known for his work on '' Lovesick'', '' Shameless'', '' Fresh Meat'' and ''The Inbetweeners''. Broadcasters' Audience Research Board
The Broadcasters Audience Research Board (BARB) is a British organisation that compiles audience measurement and television ratings in the United Kingdom. It was created in 1981 to replace two previous systems whereby ITV ratings were compiled by JICTAR (Joint Industry Committee for Television Audience Research), whilst the BBC did their own audience research. BARB is jointly owned by the BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Channel 5, Sky and the Institute of Practitioners in Advertising. Participating viewers have a box on top of their TV sets which tracks the programmes they watch. Business Currently, BARB have approximately 5,100 homes (equating to approximately 12,000 individuals) participating in the panel.
