The Black Parade
''The Black Parade'' is the third studio album by American rock band My Chemical Romance, first released on October 23, 2006, through Reprise Records. A predominantly emo, alternative rock, pop-punk, hard rock, and punk rock concept album, it is centered on the story of a dying man with cancer known as "The Patient", as he nears the end of his life. The album was produced by the band alongside Rob Cavallo, and is the band's only studio album to feature Bob Bryar on drums before his departure in 2010. Work began on the album in early 2006, with the band being influenced by the success and expectations set by their previous studio album, ''Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge'' (2004). Aiming to outdo that album in as much as they could, Gerard Way came up with the idea to make it a concept album. My Chemical Romance is an American Rock music, rock band from New Jersey. The band's current lineup consists of lead vocalist Gerard Way, lead guitarist Ray Toro, rhythm guitarist Frank Iero, and bassist Mikey Way. They are considered one of the most influential rock groups of the 2000s in music, 2000s and a major act in the emo and pop-punk genres, despite the band rejecting the former label. Bob Bryar
Robert Cory Bryar (December 31, 1979 – November 24, 2024) was an American musician and sound engineer best known as the drummer of American rock band My Chemical Romance. He was the longest-tenured and last official drummer in the band, performing in the rock group from 2004 until his departure in 2010. Bryar joined My Chemical Romance shortly after the release of the band's second studio album ''Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge'' in 2004, replacing former drummer Matt Pelissier. ''The Black Parade/Living with Ghosts'' is a reissue of the American rock band My Chemical Romance's third studio album, ''The Black Parade'' (2006). It was released on September 23, 2016 through Reprise Records. The reissue features two discs: the first disc contains a remastered version of the original album while the second contains several unreleased demos and live tracks, and is titled ''Living with Ghosts''. The demos range from early versions of songs that were included on the final record, such as "Welcome to the Black Parade" and "House of Wolves", to ones that were cut from it entirely like "Emily" and "All the Angels". The Black Parade World Tour
The Black Parade World Tour was a concert tour by American rock band My Chemical Romance in support of their third studio album, '' The Black Parade'' (2006). The tour began on February 22, 2007, in Manchester, New Hampshire and concluded on May 9, 2008, in New York City. 133 shows were a part of the tour, with locations spanning across five different continents, ranging from cities such as the aforementioned New York City to Buenos Aires and Moscow. For most of the tour, My Chemical Romance would play ''The Black Parade'' in its entirety dressed up as an alter-ego marching band named after the album. After playing the album in its entirety, the band would then play a selection of songs from their previous albums.
