The Bitch (film)
''The Bitch'' is a 1979 British drama film directed by Gerry O'Hara. It is a sequel to ''The Stud (film), The Stud'' (1978) and, like its predecessor, is based on a novel by the British author Jackie Collins and stars her sister Joan Collins as Fontaine Khaled. Both films were made for a relatively small sum but were highly profitable at the box office, and were among the first successes in the emerging home video market of the early 1980s. Plot Following from where ''The Stud (film), The Stud'' left off, Fontaine Khaled is now a divorcee. While she still leads an extravagant jetset lifestyle and did get a rather hefty divorce settlement, she no longer has the financial security of being a billionaire's wife and her once-successful London nightclub, "The Hobo", is now failing due to a newer club taking away most of the former patrons. Gerry O'Hara
Gerald O'Hara (1 October 1924 – 9 January 2023) was a British film and television writer and director. Life and career O'Hara was born in Boston, Lincolnshire on 1 October 1924, to James O'Hara, a bookmaker, and Jeannie O’Hara (née Beamont). In the 1940s and 1950s he had an active and varied career as an assistant director for dozens of British films including ''Richard III (1955 film), Richard III'' (1955), ''Our Man in Havana (film), Our Man in Havana'' (1959) and ''Tom Jones (1963 film), Tom Jones'' (1963). His directorial debut was ''That Kind of Girl'' (1963). Ian Mackendrick Hendry (13 January 1931 – 24 December 1984) was an English actor. He worked on several British TV series of the 1960s and 1970s, including the lead in the first series of '' The Avengers'' and '' The Lotus Eaters.'' Alibe Parsons (born 21 December 1935) is an actress who has worked in both film and television. Early life Born in Missouri, Alibe studied theatre arts and singing in Los Angeles, becoming a talented pianist at the age of 13.
