The August is a country rock band formed in Chicago, Illinois in 2005 now based in Nashville, Tennessee. Members include Jacky Dustin, Wojtek Krupka, Tim Good and Cameron Clarke. Known for their live show that is reminiscent of 70s era country rock infused with the pop sensibilities of today. Nashville, Tennessee
Nashville is the capital city of the U.S. state of Tennessee and the seat of Davidson County. Shawn Mullins
Shawn Mullins (born March 8, 1968) is an American singer-songwriter who specializes in folk rock, instrumental rock, adult alternative, and Americana music. His 1998 single " Lullaby", hit number one on the Adult Top 40 and was nominated for a Grammy Award. Early life and military career Mullins was born in Atlanta, Georgia. He cultivated an interest in music beginning in his days at Clarkston High School in Clarkston, Georgia (where he made the acquaintance of friend and mentor Amy Ray of the Indigo Girls). Later, he honed his craft in his college days at University of North Georgia (then known as North Georgia College) as a solo acoustic musician and bandmaster of the military marching band (Golden Eagle Band). He attended the University of North Georgia on an Army ROTC scholarship with an intention of possibly pursuing a military career. Aware Records
Aware Records is an American record label. The label has worked with a range of artists, including John Mayer, Train, Five for Fighting, Mat Kearney, and Guster. History Aware Records was founded in 1993 by Gregg Latterman with the simple intention to find unsigned acts and increase their national exposure through a compilation album. In the fall of 1995, the label formed the inaugural Aware Tour. The first tour led to national tours from 1996 to 1999. In July 1997, Aware entered into an agreement with Columbia Records providing the major label with grassroots artist development, and Aware access to national marketing and distribution. The 2003 Aware Tour featured Toad the Wet Sprocket as headliner, with Aware bands Wheat and Bleu as supporting acts. Aware's joint venture with Columbia Records was renewed in the summer of 2002.
