Tengku Rizal Nurdin
Haji Tengku Rizal Nurdin (21 February 1948 – 5 September 2005) was the 13th Governor of North Sumatra, Indonesia. He served from 1998 until his death on 5 September 2005. In that time he was serving in his second period (2003–2008). In the previous period (1998–2003), he was also the Governor of North Sumatra. Before becoming governor, he was Barisan Mountains, Bukit Barisan Territorial Military Commander I in 1997, in the rank of major general. Although born in West Sumatra, he was a Deli Malay people, Deli Malay. He was appointed North Sumatran Governor on 15 June 1998. His second term was on 24 March 2003, and it would end on 15 June 2008. In his marriage with Hj. NR Siti Maryam (born 1948), he has 2 daughters: T. Armilla Madiana and T. Arisma Mellina. Abdurrahman Wahid
Abdurrahman Wahid ( ; né ad-Dakhil, 7 September 1940 – 30 December 2009), more colloquially known as Gus Dur (), was an Indonesian politician and Islam in Indonesia, Islamic Kyai, religious leader who served as the fourth president of Indonesia, from his 1999 Indonesian presidential election, election in 1999 until he was Impeachment of Abdurrahman Wahid, removed from office in 2001. A long time leader within the Nahdlatul Ulama organization, he was the founder of the National Awakening Party (PKB). Barisan Mountains
The Bukit Barisan or the Barisan Mountains are a mountain range on the western side of Sumatra, Indonesia, covering nearly 1,700 km (1,050 mi) from the north to the south of the island. The Bukit Barisan range consists primarily of volcanoes shrouded in dense jungle cover, including Sumatran tropical pine forests on the higher slopes. The highest peak of the range is Mount Kerinci at 3,800 metres (12,467 ft). The Bukit Barisan Selatan National Park is situated towards the southern end of the range in Liwa, Indonesia.
