Telewizja Republika
Telewizja Republika or TV Republika is a Polish television station, whose editor-in-chief is Tomasz Sakiewicz. The channel can be received via satellite, via the Internet and terrestrial in the DVB-T system (Katowice and the surrounding area), as well as in the DVB-T2 system (Warsaw, Wrocław and the vicinity of these cities). From 2022, the channel broadcasts its program 24 hours a day. The live portion of its output in Polish is broadcast every day for 16 hours, from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., while between 11:00 p.m. and midnight, the programs of the English-speaking editorial staff of the channel are broadcast. The station is seen as right-wing, inspired by the American station Fox News and supportive of the Law and Justice (Poland), Law and Justice political party. Mariusz Kamiński
Mariusz Kamiński (born 25 September 1965 in Sochaczew) is a Polish politician who served as the head of the Central Anticorruption Bureau (CBA) from August 2006 to October 2009. Since 14 August 2019, he has served as the Minister of the Interior and Administration, in addition to coordinating Polish secret services, which he had done previously as a minister without portfolio. Career He had previously been a member of the Sejm, elected on 25 September 2005, getting 9142 votes in 19 Warsaw district, as a candidate on the Law and Justice list. He was also a member of Sejm 1997-2001 and Sejm 2001-2005. Kamiński was dismissed (as the head of CBA) on 13 October 2009 by prime minister Donald Tusk. Jarosław Aleksander Kaczyński (; born 18 June 1949) is a Polish politician who is currently serving as leader of the Law and Justice party (known by its Polish acronym PiS), which he co-founded in 2001 with his twin brother, Lech Kaczyński, who served as president of Poland until his death in 2010. Running for PiS, he served as the prime minister of Poland from July 2006 to November 2007, while his brother was the president of Poland. After PiS's electoral defeat in 2007, Kaczyński was the main leader of the opposition during Civic Platform's governments. TVP Info is a Polish free-to-air television news channel, run by the public broadcaster, state media TVP. It is focused on newscasts, airing nationwide news bulletins from 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. Its main offices are located at the TVP news compound in central Warsaw. TVP Info replaced TVP3 and was launched October 2007. It has regional branches in most of the major Polish cities and, similarly to France 3 in France or Rai Tre in Italy, for a couple of hours every day it broadcasts regional programming, including local news and reports in sixteen versions. TVN24 is a Polish 24-hour commercial news channel, launched on 9 August 2001. Being a part of the TVN Network, TVN24 has been owned since July 2017 by US-based media company Warner Bros. Discovery. It gained broader popularity after the September 11, 2001 attacks in the US, which was the first major incident to be covered by TVN24. It is available over all digital platforms in Poland (Cyfrowy Polsat and nc+) as well as in most cable networks and some networks in other countries, including USA (Dish Network) and Germany.
