Tanja Andrejeva
Tanja Andrejeva () (born 17 June 1978 in Skopje, Republic of Macedonia) is a retired Macedonian handball goalkeeper that played for ŽRK Metalurg and for the Macedonia women's national handball team. Career Tanja started her handball career at age of 14 in the youth team of Gjorce Petrov. At age of 19, in the season 1997/98 she became a member of Kometal Gjorče Petrov Skopje team roster. Later she left Kometal Gjorče Petrov Skopje and she played for some Macedonian handball clubs, like RK Tutunski Kombinat from Prilep and for RK Kale Kicevo from Kicevo. In the season 2007/08 she came back in Kometal Gjorče Petrov Skopje and she won the double crown. In 2008, she signed a deal with Serbian handball club ŽRK Kikinda. Skopje
Skopje ( , ; ; , sq-definite, Shkupi) is the capital and largest city of North Macedonia. WHC Metalurg () is a women's team handball, handball club from Skopje, North Macedonia. The team currently competes in the Macedonian women's First League of Handball. History The club was established in 1964 under the name MIK and played in the amateur handball league of Socialist Republic of Macedonia, SR Macedonia. In the seasons 1967 ,1968 and 1970 MIK became winner of the handball league of SR Macedonia. In 1973 the club was renamed to RK Skopje. Finally in 1975, RK Skopje achieved their greatest success, participation in the First Yugoslav Handball League. In 1978, RK Skopje won the Yugoslav Cup for the territory of SR Macedonia. The North Macedonia women's national handball team is the women's national handball team of North Macedonia. It is governed by the Macedonian Handball Federation and takes part in international team handball competitions. History The first women's handball teams in Macedonia emerged in the second half of the 1940s. Team Handball
Handball (also known as team handball, European handball, Olympic handball or indoor handball) is a team sport in which two teams of seven players each (six outcourt players and a Handball goalkeeper, goalkeeper) pass a ball using their hands with the aim of throwing it into the goal of the opposing team. A standard match consists of two periods of 30 minutes, and the team that scores more goals wins. Modern handball is played on a court of , with a goal in the middle of each end. WHC Gjorche Petrov () is a female handball club based in Skopje, the capital of North Macedonia. History The club was founded in 1979 under the name ''Women's Handball Club Gjorče Petrov''. Kometal Gjorče Petrov stopped its work on 16 September 2011 when the central committee decided that there was no conditions for operation and existence.
