Baymak (; , ''Bajmaq'') is a town in the Republic of Bashkortostan, Russia, located in the upper streams of the Tanalyk River ( Ural's basin) south of Ufa. Orenburg Oblast (also Orenburzhye) is a federal subject of Russia (an oblast), mainly located in Eastern Europe. Its administrative center is the city of Orenburg. A drainage basin is an area of land in which all flowing surface water converges to a single point, such as a river mouth, or flows into another body of water, such as a lake or ocean.
