Takam Mising Porin Kebang (TMPK) is a Mising student union from the state of Assam, India It was established in 1971 at Higher secondary school jonai it has celebrated its 50 year golden Jubilee at Secondary field in 2021 Jonai Bazar. History Takam Mising Porin Kebang or TMPK is a student union from the state of Assam. It is the main students organization of the Mising tribe in the state. It mainly focuses on the socio-economic and political issues of the Mising tribals in Assam Takam Mising Porin Kebang (Tmpk) was established in 1971. The TMPK earlier known as the North East Frontier Agency Students Union was constituted at Jonai HSS in 1971 and later renamed as the TMPK (Mising Students' Union) in 1982. Demand for inclusion of MAC in the Sixth Schedule TMPK is leading the movement of the Mising tribals demand for the inclusion of the Mising Autonomous Council (MAC) into an Autonomous District as per the sixth schedule of the Constitution of India.

Mising People
The Mising people are a Sino-Tibetan ethnic group inhabiting mostly in the Northeast Indian states of Assam and Arunachal Pradesh. They are part of the greater Tani group of people of India and Tibet Autonomous Region of China. Demographics Etymology is an endonym which literally means "man of the soil." , on the other hand, is an exonym commonly applied by plains Assamese people. The origin of the term Mising is believed to be coming from the river named Siang that connects with Brahmaputra in Assam. There is still much scholarly debate on the origin of the term "Miri." Jonai
Jonai is the easternmost Co-District of Dhemaji District in India's Assam State, about 554 kilometers away from the state capital, Dispur. It covers a total area of 1181.2 sq. km. and is bounded by Arunachal Pradesh in the north, Lali and Brahmaputra River in the south, Sipiya river and Sadiya Subdivision of Tinsukia district in the east, and Simen River in the west. Mising Baptist Kebang
Mising Baptist Kebang (MBK) is a Baptist churches convention based in Assam, India. It has six associations and is spread across six districts of Assam. It is an associate member of the Council of Baptist Churches in Northeast India, and has over 116 churches affiliated under MBK with 4,300 members. Mising Agom Kebang
The Mising Agom Kébang (MAK) is a non-governmental organisation which aims to preserve and develop the Mising language, a language of Assam and Arunachal Pradesh, India. It was established on 18 April 1972 at Disangmukh in the district of Sivasagar, Assam, India. The jurisdiction of MAK is the state of Assam, and it operates through its branches, named Bangke Agom Kébang (BAK). History Nahendra Padun, a research student at Gauhati University and Prof. Tabu Taid, a lecturer in English at Cotton University, Guwahati, considered carrying the efforts of the Guwahati Mising Kebang at the level of the Mising community as a whole.
