Takahito Niimi (新美貴士, born 26 September 1993) is a Japanese kickboxer competing in the featherweight division of K-1/Krush. He is the former Krush Featherweight champion. As of July 2021, he was the #3 ranked Super Flyweight in the world by Combat Press. Kickboxing career Early career Niimi made his professional debut against Sho Yamaguchi at HOOST CUP KINGS NAGOYA 4 - Kick Revolution on May 20, 2018. He won the fight by a first-round technical knockout. Niimi was scheduled to make his second professional appearance against TETSU at Krush.92 ～in NAGOYA～ on August 18, 2018. He won the fight by unanimous decision, with scores of 30-29, 30-28 and 30-28. Enfusion is a Dutch kickboxing promotion company based in Alkmaar, Netherlands. It produces events worldwide, which showcase twelve kickboxing weight classes (7 male and 5 female). Krush (kickboxing)
Krush is a martial arts entertainment planning and promotion brand established in 2008, currently based in Japan. It is the sister brand of K-1, and has produced numerous future K-1 competitors, such as Takeru Segawa, Tatsuya Tsubakihara and Yuki Egawa. It features events across ten male and three female weight classes. Current Krush champions History Krush was launched in 2008, prior to the death of K-1 FEG, as a collaboration between K-1 and All Japan Kickboxing Federation. It was launched as a feeder organization to K-1, and was accordingly seen as the second tier of K-1 competition.
