Enfusion
Enfusion is a Dutch kickboxing promotion company based in Alkmaar, Netherlands. Labelled as one of the top kickboxing organizations in the world. It produces events worldwide, which showcase twelve kickboxing weight classes (12 male and 6 female). History In 2002 Edwin Van Os started a new company along with Partner Simon Rutz designed to market kickboxing and manage fighters under the name of Its Showtime. In 2012, Its Showtime was then sold to Glory. Edwin van Os of Its Showtime then started a new reality show concept called ''Enfusion Reality'' which first aired in 2010. In 2013 the next step of Enfusion development emerged by hosting fight events throughout Europe and abroad. In 2018 Enfusion begun organizing Enfusion MMA events. Glory (formerly Glory World Series) is an international kickboxing promotion (entertainment), promotion founded in 2012. It is owned by Pierre Andurand, Yao Capital, Scott Rudmann and other investors. Background When K-1 began suffering from extreme financial difficulties in 2011, Total Sports Asia, TSA CEO Marcus Luer, Pierre Andurand, and Scott Rudmann of Pierre Andurand, Nectar Capital attempted to buy the brand. K-1 was instead sold to Mike Kim and EMCOM Entertainment Inc. In the aftermath, Pierre Andurand, Scott Rudmann and TSA decided to start a brand new kickboxing promotion and acquired United Glory, Golden Glory, and It's Showtime (kickboxing), It's Showtime to secure a top event production team and contracts to each promotion's top fighters. Kickboxing ( ) is a full-contact hybrid Martial arts, martial art and Boxing (other), boxing type based on punch (combat), punching and kicking. Kickboxing originated in the 1950s to 1970s. The fight takes place in a boxing ring, normally with boxing gloves, mouth guards, shorts, and bare feet to favor the use of kicks. A poke or prod is a strike_(attack), blow using the tips of one or more fingers.
