Tsvetan Valentinov Genkov ( bg, Цветан Валентинов Генков; born 8 February 1984) is a Bulgarian footballer who plays as a striker for OFK Kostinbrod. Career Lokomotiv Mezdra Born in Mezdra, Genkov began his career in the local Lokomotiv, previously having been a track and field athlete. Javier Merida
Javier Merida (born 15 April 1973) is a Spanish athlete best known for competing in paratriathlon. He was born in Marbella and lost his leg in a traffic accident in 2007, after which he began training for paratriathlon. Some of his more notable successes include several championships of Spanish paratriathlon, a European championship of paratriathlon, as well as being world vice champion in paraduathlon. One of his accomplishments includes being the first disabled person from Spain to cross the English channel in 2013. He mentions that his next goal would be crossing Loch Ness. He also states that he intends to train for the 2016 Summer Paralympics in Rio de Janeiro which will introduce his discipline of paratriathlon for the first time. Paratriathlon
Para triathlon is a variant of the triathlon for athletes with a physical disability. The sport is governed by World Triathlon (TRI) (formerly known as ITU), and was first held as a Paralympic event at the 2016 Summer Paralympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. At events sanctioned by World Triathlon, athletes compete over a Para triathlon sprint distance event with a 750 m swim, 20 km cycle using handcycles, bicycles or tandem bicycles with a guide and a 5 km wheelchair or running race. Bulgaria has established traditions in a great variety of sports. Olympics Bulgaria participates both in the Summer and Winter Olympics, and its first appearance dates back to the first modern Olympic Games in 1896, when the Swiss gymnast Charles Champaud represented the country.
