Sébastien Bordeleau
Sébastien Ives Bordeleau (born February 15, 1975) is a Canadian-born French former professional ice hockey forward, who played in the National Hockey League. His father is former NHL player Paulin Bordeleau. Playing career Born in Vancouver, British Columbia, while his father Paulin played for the Canucks, he spent several years growing up in France while his father played pro hockey there. As a youth, he played in the 1987 Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament with team from France, and in the 1989 tournament with a minor ice hockey team from Lanaudière. After returning to Canada he spent four years with the Hull Olympiques of the QMJHL. After being drafted by the Montreal Canadiens in the third round, 73rd overall in the 1993 NHL Entry Draft, the young forward was returned to his junior club to further develop his skills. Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament
The Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament () is an annual minor ice hockey event in Quebec City. The tournament was founded in 1960 to coincide with the Quebec Winter Carnival, and give an opportunity for international competition to players less than 12 years old. The tournament raises funds for the local Patro Roc-Amadour foundation, and is operated mostly by volunteers, with a few staff. The event takes place each year in February at Videotron Centre, and previously spent 56 seasons at Colisée Pepsi, Quebec Coliseum. As of 2018, the event has showcased the talent of over 1,200 future professionals in the National Hockey League or the World Hockey Association. Thomas Bordeleau
Thomas Bordeleau (born January 3, 2002) is an American professional ice hockey forward for the San Jose Barracuda of the American Hockey League (AHL) as a prospect to the San Jose Sharks of the National Hockey League (NHL). He was drafted 38th overall by the Sharks in the 2020 NHL Entry Draft. His father is former NHL player Sébastien Bordeleau. Early life Bordeleau was born in Houston, Texas, to hockey player Sébastien Bordeleau and gynecologist Chantal Dubois while his dad played for the Houston Aeros. The National League (NL) is a professional ice hockey league in Switzerland and the highest level of the Swiss league system. Prior to the 2017–18 season, the league was known as National League A. 2001 NHL Waiver Draft
The NHL waiver draft was an annual draft held by the National Hockey League (NHL) from 1977 to 2003. A reworked version of the NHL intra-league draft, the waiver draft was created to help address the league's competitive balances issues and the financial issues some of the expansion teams added in the preceding ten years were undergoing. It was not held during the 1979–80 and 1991–92 seasons due to the 1979 merger with the World Hockey Association and the 1991 NHL dispersal and expansion drafts, respectively. It was discontinued as a result of the collective bargaining agreement that was reached to end the 2004–05 NHL lockout. The Fredericton Canadiens, or the 'Baby Habs', were a professional ice hockey team in Fredericton, New Brunswick. The Canadiens played their home games at the Aitken Centre. The Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League (QMJHL; , LHJMQ), formerly the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League is one of the three major junior ice hockey leagues that constitute the Canadian Hockey League (CHL).
