Sævik
Sævik or Sævig is a small village in the municipality of Namsos in Trøndelag county, Norway. The village was the site of the old Sævik Church until the mid-1800s. The village is located about half-way between the villages of Klinga and Spillum, along the Norwegian County Road 17. The town of Namsos lies about to the north, on the other side of the river Namsen. History Sævik had a church and was for many years the seat of a sub-parish (''sokn''). In the 16th century, Sævig was recorded as a part of Fosnes prestegjeld (parish). From 1820, it was part of the prestegjeld of Overhalla (not the same as Overhalla municipality). There were churches in Sævik, Vemundvik (from 1844), and in Namsos ( sma, Nåavmesjenjaelmie) is a municipality in Trøndelag county, Norway. It is part of the Namdalen region. Klinga, Norway
Klinga or Klingen is a village in Namsos municipality in Trøndelag county, Norway. The village is located about halfway between the villages of Bangsund and Spillum along the Norwegian County Road 17. The village of Sævik lies just north of Klinga and the town of Namsos lies about to the north. The dominant industries have been industry, agriculture, and forestry. The development of the main roads through the village was slow. In 1922, the important Namsen river bridge was completed so that traffic between the town of Namsos and the village of Klinga could occur regardless of the uncertain ferry connections. In 1928, the state took over road maintenance on main roads and eventually developed a road link to the south and east of Klinga. The Church of Norway has a parish of Klinga, based at the Klinga Church. Vemundvik is a village in Namsos municipality in Trøndelag county, Norway. The village is located along the shore, about north of the town of Namsos and about east of the village of Ramsvika. Vemundvik Church is located in the village. The village of Vemundvik was the administrative centre of the old municipality of Vemundvik from 1838 until 1941, when the municipal administration moved to the nearby town of Namsos. Overhalla is a municipality in Trøndelag county, Norway. It is part of the Namdalen region. The administrative centre of the municipality is the village of Ranemsletta (also called ''Overhalla''). Other villages include Melen, Skage, Skogmo, Svalia, and Øysletta. The population is concentrated in the relatively broad Namsen river valley at the center.
