is a motorsport race track standing in the foothills of Mount Fuji, in Oyama, Suntō District, Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan. It was built in the early 1960s. In the 1980s, Fuji Speedway was used for the FIA World Sportscar Championship and national racing. Originally managed by Mitsubishi Estate Co., Fuji Speedway was acquired by Toyota Motor Corporation in 2000. 2024 Super Taikyu Series
The 2024 Eneos Super Taikyu Series Empowered by Bridgestone is the thirty-fourth season of the Super Taikyu endurance racing championship. It began on 20-21 April at Sportsland Sugo and will end on 17 November at Fuji Speedway. This season marks the beginning of a new three-year contract with Bridgestone to be the series' official tyre supplier. Bridgestone had taken over the supply of tyres from Hankook during the 2023 season after a fire at the Hankook manufacturing plant in Daejeon, South Korea forced them to abandon its supply. B-Max Racing Co., Ltd also known as B-Max Racing Team and B-Max Engineering is a race car builder and racing team headquartered in Ayase, Kanagawa. The 2021 Super Taikyu Series Powered by Hankook was the thirty-first season of the Super Taikyu Series endurance racing championship. It began on 21 March at Twin Ring Motegi and ended on 14 November at Okayama International Circuit. D'station Racing won the championship in the series' GT3 category, known as ST-X, with an Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT3. This was the first season for the new ST-Q class, introduced for manufacturer-developed, non-homolgated special racing vehicles. , literally "child's dream", is a Japanese racing car constructor involved mainly in open-wheel and sports car racing. History In 1965, Minoru Hayashi built his first racing car, a rebodied Honda S600 coupe. Belonging to Tojiro Ukiya, it was called the "Karasu" (crow in Japanese), due to its shape. Built on a small budget and in a short time, the Karasu emphasized weight reduction and aerodynamics using FRP materials. The car went on to win its debut race at the Suzuka Clubman Race, despite Hayashi having no experience in racecar construction. In 1966 he went on to build the "Macransa", a more extensively modified Honda S800, to compete at the Japanese Grand Prix. This was followed by the "Kusabi" three years later, which was a Formula Junior racing car, and the "Panic" in 1971.
