Swedish Italians ( sv, Svenskitalienare) are Swedish citizens or residents of Italian ethnic, cultural and linguistic heritage or identity. There are approximately 8,126 people born in Italy living in Sweden today, as well as 10,961 people born in Sweden with at least one parent born in Italy. Amelia Adamo
Amelia Adamo (born 24 February 1947) is a Swedish journalist. She established several women's magazines and worked as an editor-in-chief. Biography She was born in Rome, Italy, and went to Sweden soon after her birth. She received a degree in social sciences. She has worked on magazines such as '' Svensk Damtidning'', ''Husmodern'' and '' VeckoRevyn''. She was the editor-in-chief of the latter. Adamo started the magazines '' Amelia'' (1995), '' Tara'' (2000) and ''M-magasin'' (2006). Adamo has married third times. She first married Lars Ericsson who was the summer editor-in-chief at ''Svensk Damtidning''. They had two sons, and Ericsson died of cancer. Erik Gandini
Erik Walter Gandini (born 14 August 1967) is an Italian-Swedish film director, writer, and producer anprofessorof documentary film at Stockholm University of the Arts. His film '' The Swedish Theory of Love'' premiered at the 2015 Stockholm International Film Festival. Early life Erik Gandini moved to Sweden aged 19 to attend film school and avoid military service in Italy. After his studies at Biskops Arnö and having completed a master's degree in film science at Stockholm University, he started working as a documentary filmmaker. In 1994, Gandini adventured with a fake letter of recommendation from a small local Swedish TV broadcaster to the besieged city of Sarajevo where he directed and produced his first documentary ''Raja Sarajevo'' for Sveriges Television. Jonnie Luigi Fedel (born 22 November 1966) is a Swedish former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. He serves as a goalkeeping coach for Allsvenskan club Malmö FF. He spent almost his entire playing career at Malmö FF. International career Fedel won two caps for the Sweden national team, making his debut in 1992 in a friendly game against Australia. Sven Thomas Magnusson (born 23 October 1963), known by his stage names Thomas Di Leva or simply Di Leva, is a Swedish singer and songwriter. Biography Sven Thomas Magnusson was born 1963 in Gävle, Gävleborg County, Gästrikland, Sweden. At 14 years of age, he changed his name from Magnusson to Di Leva, inspired both by his mother's Italian maiden name and idols like Leonardo da Vinci and Charlie Chaplin. Staffan de Mistura (born 25 January 1947) is an Italian- Swedish diplomat, United Nations official and former member of the Italian government. After a 40-year career in various United Nations agencies, he was appointed Undersecretary of State for Foreign Affairs and thereafter Deputy Foreign Minister in the Italian cabinet headed by Mario Monti. Johan De Farfalla
Johan De Farfalla (born 3 June 1971 in Stockholm) is a Sweden, Swedish bass player. He is the former bassist of seminal Swedish progressive metal band Opeth. He originally joined Opeth in 1991 when its lineup was David Isberg on vocals, Mikael Åkerfeldt and Kim Pettersson on guitar, and Anders Nordin on drums. He replaced Nick Döring on bass for one show and quit immediately afterwards. Opeth recruited Peter Lindgren (musician), Peter Lindgren to replace him for their next show, and then Stefan Guteklint after Lindgren moved to guitar. In 1994, Opeth was approached for signing by Candlelight Records, and fired Guteklint. Alessandro Michele Cavazza (; born 11 September 1992), mostly known as Sandro Cavazza, is a Swedish songwriter and former singer of Italian origin. Besides his solo career he was also a member of the pop group Estraden. Peter Birro (born 19 July 1966 in Gothenburg) is a Swedish script writer, poet and musician. In the 1980s and early 1990s, Birro was an obscure poet who performed with the almost equally obscure Swedish band The Christer Petterssons (named after the suspected assassin of Swedish Prime minister Olof Palme, Christer Pettersson). Birro's breakthrough as a writer was his script for the TV-series ''Hammarkullen'' (1997) directed by Agneta Fagerström-Olsson, which follows some people living in a low-income suburb of Gothenburg.
