Svante Stockselius
Stig Svante Stockselius (; born 31 December 1955) is a Swedish journalist and television executive. He was the executive supervisor of the Eurovision Song Contest from to and the Junior Eurovision Song Contest from to . Early life and career Svante Stockselius grew up in Ockelbo, a small town in central Sweden. He started his career as a journalist. For 16 years, he worked for the Stockholm-based evening newspaper ''Expressen''. As head of the entertainment division of the Swedish public service television company Sveriges Television from the late 1990s, he worked for the Eurovision Song Contest 2000, held in Stockholm. He was also the architect of a major revamp of the Swedish ESC qualification competition, Melodifestivalen, in 2002, introducing four semi-finals and a Second Chance round preceding the finals. Hudiksvall () is a cities of Sweden, city and the seat of Hudiksvall Municipality, in Hälsingland, Gävleborg County, Sweden with 16,792 inhabitants as of 2024. TV4 (''TV fyra'') is a Sweden, Swedish free-to-air Television in Sweden, television network owned by TV4 AB, a subsidiary of the TV4 Media, TV4 Media AB. It started broadcasting by satellite in 1990 and, since 1992, on terrestrial television. In 1994, TV4 became the largest channel and remained so for a number of years. Personal life He is the son of revue writer and actor Bjørn Sand and actress Unni Bernhoft. He grew up at Vinderen in Oslo, and has a brother and a sister. His brother, , is an actor and author. The Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2010 was the eighth edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest and took place in Minsk, Belarus. It was held on 20 November 2010.
