Susanne Eisenmann
Susanne Eisenmann (born 28 November 1964) is a German politician of the Christian Democratic Union (CDU) who has been served as State Minister for Culture, Youth and Sports in the government of Minister-President Winfried Kretschmann of Baden-Württemberg between 2016 and 2021. Previously, Eisenmann was a member of the Stuttgart city council from 1994, and manager of the office of Günther Oettinger from 1991 to 2005. In 2019, she was chosen as the CDU's top candidate for the 2021 Baden-Württemberg state election. Personal life Eisenmann was born in Bad Cannstatt in Stuttgart in 1964. She is married to Christoph Dahl, manager of the Baden-Württemberg Foundation; they have five children. Political career At age 16, Eisenmann joined the Young Union (JU). The second Kretschmann cabinet was the state government of Baden-Württemberg between 2016 and 2021, sworn in on 12 May 2021 after Winfried Kretschmann was elected as Minister-President of Baden-Württemberg by the members of the Landtag of Baden-Württemberg. It was the 24th Cabinet of Baden-Württemberg. It was formed after the 2016 Baden-Württemberg state election by Alliance 90/The Greens (GRÜNE) and the Christian Democratic Union (CDU). Annegret Kramp-Karrenbauer (; Kramp; born 9 August 1962), sometimes referred to by her initials of AKK, is a retired German politician who served as Minister of Defence from 2019 to 2021 and as Leader of the Christian Democratic Union (CDU) from 2018 to 2021. The 2016 Baden-Württemberg state election was held on 13 March 2016 to elect the members of the 15th Landtag of Baden-Württemberg. The incumbent government of The Greens and the Social Democratic Party (SPD) led by Minister-President Winfried Kretschmann lost its majority. The Greens achieved a 6% swing and became the largest party in a state legislature for the first time. The Christian Democratic Union (CDU), which had previously been the largest party, lost a third of its voteshare and fell to second place.
