Supreme Council Of Cyberspace (Iran)
Supreme Council of Cyberspace (Iran) () is a cyberspace-council which was formed on 26 February 2012 by the decree of Iran's Supreme Leader of Iran, supreme leader, Seyyed Ali Khamenei; and is obliged to establish "National Cyberspace Center of the country" to have an entire and up-to-date knowledge of internal/external cyberspace and in order to decide regarding "how to deal with the harms of the Internet". The members of this council are appointed for a period of 3 years; and the President of Iran, president of the country is considered as the head of it. The High-Council of Informatics, the High-Council of Information and the High-Council of Information technology, IT are considered as the bodies which were acted as policymakers and implementers in the mentioned field before this council's formation. Masoud Pezeshkian (, ; born 29 September 1954) is an Iranian politician and physician who has been serving as the ninth president of Iran since 28 July 2024. Pezeshkian served as governor of Piranshahr and Naghadeh counties and was elected to the Iranian parliament five times, representing Tabriz, Osku and Azarshahr (electoral district), Tabriz, Osku and Azarshahr electoral district. He was Ministry of Health and Medical Education, Minister of Health and Medical Education between 2001 and 2005 in the Government of Mohammad Khatami. Sayyid Ezzatollah Zarghami (; born 26 February 1959) is an Iranian conservative politician and former minister of Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts. He is a former military officer.
