Sumin (musician)
Sumin () is a South Korean singer-songwriter and producer. She garnered attention through her hit song "곤란한 노래" (The Gonlan Song), one of the tracks on the ''Miniseries'' album, which is a collaboration between her and music producer Slom. The song earned them the Korean Music Award's Best R&B and Soul Song award. Career In December 2015, Sumin debuted with the single "뜨거워질거야"; the next year, she released the mini album ''Beat, And Go To Sleep''. Her first studio album, Your Home, was named one of the best albums of 2018 by the webzine ''Weiv''. She also has helped produce music for BTS BTS (), also known as the Bangtan Boys, is a South Korean boy band formed in 2010. Hip-Hop
Hip-hop or hip hop (originally disco rap) is a popular music genre that emerged in the early 1970s from the African-American community of New York City. The style is characterized by its synthesis of a wide range of musical techniques. Hip-hop includes rapping often enough that the terms can be used synonymously. However, "hip-hop" more properly denotes an entire subculture. Other key markers of the genre are the disc jockey, turntablism, scratching, beatboxing, and instrumental tracks. Cultural interchange has always been central to the hip-hop genre. It simultaneously borrows from its social environment while commenting on it. The hip-hop genre and culture emerged from block parties in ethnic minority neighborhoods of New York City, particularly Bronx.
